Seahawks Graphics and wallpapers for 2015

I am proud and honored to use my Photoshop skills to express the awesomeness of being a 12. I have been making these graphics throughout the 2015 Season. I share them on my FaceBook page and on the 12 Man FaceBook page. You are welcome to download them and use them, as long as you don’t use my graphics disrespectfully or post them on any website that promotes hate or discrimination, and you must leave my graphics wholly intact.

Seattle Seahawks against the Dallas Cowboys, November 1, 2015

Personally, I don’t have anything against the Dallas Cowboys. They’re as good a team as most others in the NFL. But one of my best friends loves the Cowboys and loves to talk smack about the Seattle Seahawks. That’s OK, I know it’s all just wishful thinking on his part. But still, talking smack about my Seahawks is an offense that will not go unanswered. So on behalf of my friend, and the simple fact that the Seattle Seahawks are a better team than the Dallas Cowboys, I came up with a couple graphics to show my support and sentiment.

This one goes out to my buddy S.F.

They Lady 12’s Love Their Seahawks

Yesterday, I thought I'd have a little fun, and I photoshopped a poster layout for the lady fans of Seattle Seahawks. Continue reading

Playing around with Adobe Creative Cloud

Photoshop is one of my favorite graphical tools. Lately, I have been testing Adobe Creative Cloud, which has taken Photoshop from the desktop to the cloud, and I have to say, I love it. Here are a few graphics that I created.

I call this Cosmos, and it’s kind of symbolic of some of my personal philosophies. The fun thing is that if you stare at the white spot, things start to shift around. I started this graphic with one of the triangles that was actually part of a different graphic. I cropped out the shape and… Continue reading

Seattle Seahawks 2014 NFC West Champions

I made this Seahawks graphic to commemorate the Seattle Seahawks victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on December 28th, making the Seattle Seahawks the 20145 NFC West Champions. Continue reading

Humor: Don’t Tell Me How To Do My Job!

I made this sign for a friend who gets frustrated when people try to tell him how to do his job. He grins and bears it for the benefit of the customer, but in his thoughts, it's a different story. Continue reading

This is my home. It is precious to me

While I am not an environmental extremist, I do believe that we must take responsibility for the damage we are causing our planet. We have to change our way of thinking and start pushing for change. Continue reading

My First Selfie Wallpaper

When I was a kid, Charlie Brown was someone I related to very well, and he and the rest of the Peanuts gang became one of my most favorite comic characters.  I did not do the original 3-D rendering on this version of Charlie Brown; I don’t know who did, but I would like to give them due credit for their work. I “borrowed” the graphic and changed it with my facial features, and made this image with one of Charlie Brown’s original quotes.

In Memory of the Greatest Seahawk Fans I Have Ever Known

My Grandparents are the most loyal Seahawk fans I have ever known. Through the good times and the bad times, their pride in the Seahawks never wavered. In fact, in true 12th man spirit, the worse things got, the louder they got. Sadly, they both passed away before ever seeing the Seahawks win a Super Bowl Championship. So, on behalf of my Grandparents, I am going to watch the Super Bowl for them. And I hope, in some way, that they know it, and they get to see their favorite team win the Super Bowl.

Merry Super Bowl Everyone!

I woke up this morning, and it felt like Christmas morning when I was a young kid. So full of excitement and anticipation. I have waited most of my life to see the Seattle Seahawks win the Super bowl. We got very close once, but we are going to take the Super Bowl home this year! The only sad part of all this, is that my Grandparents aren’t here to see their beloved Seahawks in their finest moment. My Grandparents were the biggest and most loyal Seahawks fans I have ever known. Today, I am going to watch… Continue reading

The makings of a vampire

In this article, I would like to showcase my infamous vampire pictures that seem to get mixed reviews from people who see it. Some people think it's cool photoshopping, and I thank them, and others think it's down right creepy, and I thank them too. Continue reading

The O’Brien Family Coat of Arms

Years ago, before my Uncle Rick passed away, he gave me a picture of our family coat of arms, the original image on the left. I rebuilt the image element by element in Photoshop until I completely redesigned the crest. I think I am going to take my design and have it made in a 3 dimensional metal wall plaque.

Photograph Retouching

Everybody like to look their best, especially when it comes to pictures. And everyone knows that the camera isn’t shy about capturing every detail, including puffy eyes, blemishes, wrinkles and other signs of aging, and well, you get the idea.  I’ve been learning photograph retouching techniques in conjunctions to learning how to restore old or damaged photographs, and I have been working at it for about a year.

Basic Retouching

The old saying about the camera doesn’t lie is very true. Shadows under our eyes are going to stand out like red flags. the same is… Continue reading

Turning an ordinary photograph into a work of art

I have two daughters, and I love them both dearly, but I rarely have the opportunity to spend time with them together. This last Father’s day was one of those rare moments, and I wanted to make sure I captured to moment in picture. Unfortunately, while iHop makes great pancakes and omelets, they are not exactly a suitable environment for taking pictures.  On to Photoshop!
