Help Desk

This is section of my website is currently under development. This page will be the main entry page to the Help desk section of obrienpc.net. The help desk will serve to provide visitors with resources and proceedural guides for issues and requests that are commonly dealt with in the help desk invironment. 

The Help Desk will contain

• How To Guides - detailed step by step instructions on how to install, repair or troubleshoot  operating systems,  hardware, software, performance issues, security, and much more. 
  • Examples:
    • Windows XP - Clearing page files
    • Windows XP - Disabling Index Service
    • Windows XP - Run Commands
    • Windows XP - Changing the Start Menu delay
    • Windows Vista - How to install Windows Vista
• Driver Resources - A page of resources for locating and installing hardware and software drivers. This page will also include a database of leading hardware and software vendors contact and support links
• The DOS guide - (Currently being re-written) My popular online DOS command guide is coming back. 
• Recommended Resources - A collection of my favorite technical resources.
• More! - Oh yes, I expect the Help Desk to be a continueing on going process
