At Puget Systems, James was a member of our customer support team. He was our first point of support contact with the customer, and dealt with more tickets than anyone else in his department. While the support department is generally charged with answering questions and solving problems, the ultimate goal is to leave customers happy with the service they received from us. This is not always an easy task! By the time many customers call technical support, often they’re understandably very frustrated and the biggest difficulty can be turning that around. We try very hard to explain that we’re on the same side; we also want the customer to have a problem free experience.
James is very good at working with people. He’s friendly, witty and has a great relationship with customers. He is quick to make a joke and change a charged, adversarial phone call into a more friendly experience.
James is unique for his dedication, passion and energy. I really appreciated his constant upbeat attitude, and his drive to see our company succeed. James was very active with feedback about how we could improve our services to customers, and eager to volunteer to help with projects. I always felt that at the end of the day, James measured success by how many customers we could help.
