  Photograph Restoration

I think that one of the most challenging and enjoyable aspects of learning about graphical design is  learning how to restore photographs. I've been learning photograph restoration for about a year now. I've learned how to fix tears, cracks, and creases. I've even learned rebuild entire missing sections. Fixing stain damage, correcting color and lighting, cleaning up scratches and blemishes are also part of my new and developing skills.

I have a ways to go yet in my learning before I would declare myself to be a professional graphics designer, or whatever. I am really happy with my progress though. I am learning new techniques all the time, and taking on bigger challenges too. Currently, I am working with a digital photographer named Mel Kite (www.metalartnw.com). Besides building two of Mel's websites, I develop photo albums and special layouts for him and his customers.

This is a small sampling of my photograph restoration skills. Please click on an image for larger pictures and more information.

Services

If you have a photograph that you would like restored or edited, I'd be happy to discuss possibilities. As I am still learning this art, I look for projects that present a learning opportunity for me. If I don't accept your project, I will at least help you find someone capable or available to help you. I don't really have a fee schedule at this point, but gratuities are gladly accepted, and I am not opposed to bartering services. Send me an e-mail through my Contact Page
